GAME GUIDE
How to play Missing X
One historic match, ten players and a few missing fields. Combine clues from the match header, maps and tables to rebuild the result.
Read the match
The header shows the teams, stage and date; below it are the played maps and both lineups’ stats. Even when some details are hidden, the remaining fields provide clues.
Tips for rebuilding the match
Start with the lineup and era: team, year, country, first name and surname can narrow down a nickname. Icons mark the IGL and sniper; other roles are not shown.
K-D, ADR, KAST and rating cover the entire match. If the match score is missing, enter it in the header’s team order, for example 2:1. Map scores appear after a correct answer, unless the final map is a separate puzzle.
Enter the year as four digits; day and month remain visible. Enter a map score in the same team order, for example 16:14. Press Enter to submit each answer.
Everyone gets the same match and gaps each day. You have three lives; each wrong answer costs one. Correct answers stay visible, and the counter above the match tracks your progress.
Use the calendar below the game to revisit saved challenges from previous days. Answers are stored separately for each date; a green day marks a completed match.

How are points calculated?
A win with no mistakes earns 1,000 points, with one mistake 900, and with two 800. A loss earns 100 plus up to 600 for the proportion of correctly revealed hidden fields. Revealing half the fields in a lost game earns 400 points. Scores are rounded. This mode does not have manual hints.
Points add up across days, including past saved results. Each account has one result per mode and day, worth at most 1,000 points. Every finished game earns at least 100 points, including losses. There are no winning-streak multipliers. Ties are resolved by average points per game, then wins, then a stable account order. Only players with points appear.
Rankings include results saved to player accounts. Guest results appear after they sync to an account.
